Mike Maadarani
Co-Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer
As a co-founder, Mike Maadarani is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Orangutech. In his role, he provides overall leadership and directions for Orangutech’s lines of business, and has overall responsibility for the growth and innovation excellence of Orangutech.
Mike has strong background in business technology architecture, consulting for corporations and governments in Canada and the US. He has served multiple roles such as Chief Architect, Trainer and Presenter at many Microsoft’s based Enterprise Content Management events. Mike is an active member of the SharePoint user group and the Web Content Management Professional Group.
Mike Maadarani brings over 14 years of experience in the IT business, designing enterprise software architectures, providing agnostic advice on technologies, and defining overall IT strategies and business cases.
Darren Murphy, Co-Founder
Darren Murphy is a co-founder and vice president of sales and business development for Orangutech. He is responsible for driving Orangutech’s sales and business development in Eastern Canada and the United States.
Darren brings more than 15 years of IT industry experience to this role. Before forming Orangutech he worked as technical solutions expert and then later with several organization developing research and development strategies by serving several roles over the past 14 years such as senior network architect and research analyst.
Darren has been a Microsoft Certified Professional since 1998 and continues to work closely with the most advanced Microsoft Technologies.
Sean Ruest, Co-Founder
As a co-founder of Orangutech, Sean Ruest is focused in Project Management and running the day to day activities of the Ottawa, Canada office. With 11 years experience in a variety of technical positions including, Senior Developer, Business Analysis and Project Manager, Sean has been part of every phase of the development life cycle and understands how to complete a successful project.
His past experience in eCommerce, Enterprise Content Management and CRM, helps support Orangutech’s focus on ECM and Customer Relation projects. His customer-centric attitude provides the clients with confidence that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Sean is MCTS in MOSS 2007 and has received formal training in Ecommerce, CRM and Content Migration. Sean stays active in the community by volunteering his time to coaching minor hockey and lacrosse.
Eric Thibaudeau, Co-Founder
Eric is a co-founder of Orangutech Inc. and brings more than eleven years of professional experience in IT/IM and holds a bachelor degree in Business Administration / Information management.
Through his experience he has gained diverse and solid experience in both public and private sector in conducting requirement analysis, custom development and implementation strategy and provided help on business transformation using information technologies and methodologies. As well, He has assumed supervisory and technical leadership roles within small to large sized projects. Eric is MCTS in MOSS 2003 and has received formal training in E-commerce, E-Learning, Application and Database design and Architecture.
