Orangutech Wins IAMCP Canada Partnership Award in 2011 Microsoft Partner Network IMPACT Awards
Ottawa, ON – December 01, 2011 – Orangutech announced today that it has been selected as the winner in the IAMCP Canada Partnership Award at the 2011 Microsoft Partner Network IMPACT Awards. The ninth annual IMPACT Awards recognize excellence across the large and diverse community of Microsoft’s Canadian technology partners. The winners were announced at an award ceremony in Toronto on November 30, 2011.
“Our annual IMPACT Awards celebrate the great work done in the Partner Community to help customers respond to their business challenges through the benefits of technology,” said Eric Gales, President of Microsoft Canada Inc. “Technology partners like Orangutech are always finding new and exciting ways to develop and deliver innovative technology solutions, making them true leaders in their respective fields.”
Orangutech was chosen as the winner in the IAMCP Canada Partnership for The Partnership Award sponsored by the Canadian chapter of the IAMCP (International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners) recognizes technology Partners working together to drive the successful adoption of Microsoft-based technologies.

The eighth annual event will be held in Toronto, Ontario on November 9, 2010 where excellence within the Canadian technology partner community is recognized for innovative solutions. The IMPACT Awards also acknowledge technology partners for their achievements beyond revenue, growth and innovation including awards for customer service, marketing and contributions to their communities.

Orangutech, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, proudly announced today it has received the 2009 Microsoft Canada Partner of Year Award. The seventh annual IMPACT Awards recognize excellence within the Microsoft technology partner community in Canada as well as the innovative solutions and value they deliver to customers. The IMPACT Awards also acknowledge technology partners for their achievements beyond revenue, growth and innovation, including awards for customer service, marketing and contribution to their communities.

Orangutech won the award for the IAMCP Partner of Year, for the Road to New Orleans project in July of 2009.
These awards are in recognition of Orangutech's leadership within the Microsoft Partner Network, the IAMCP, and the work involved with the clients.
The objective of the Road to New Orleans initiative was to bring Microsoft Partner Community awareness to the forefront for those attending and those that may not see the value in attending, promote the IAMCP, and minimize the environmental footprint by promoting Green IT. To accomplish this mission, we met with many partners along the way in Canada and USA in order to bring the Microsoft Partner Community closer together, to be more advocate about the importance of the P2P and the importance of educating other partners on the positive stimulus that organization can have as part of the IAMCP and the Microsoft Partner Network.

Orangutech is nominated Finalist for the Partner of the Year and Community Leadership in the Microsoft Impact Awards
Orangutech announced that it has been selected as a finalist in the Microsoft Community Leadership and Partner of the Year categories for the 2009 Microsoft IMPACT Awards. The seventh annual IMPACT Awards recognize excellence within the Microsoft technology partner community in Canada as well as the innovative solutions and value they deliver to customers.
Orangutech was chosen as a finalist in both categories for the Road to New Orleans (RTNO) initiative. The RTNO’s idea was to drive down and meet other Microsoft Partners along the way, to promote the WPC, the importance of being a Microsoft Partner and establish P2P relationship with many different companies in Canada and USA.

Orangutech wins the Hospital for Sick Children (www.aboutkidshealth.ca) MOSS 2007 web site re-design.
Orangutech has been chosen to re-design the AboutKidsHealth web site for the Hospital for Sick Children. A key component to the project is the implementation of a Web Content Management System (WCMS) that allows the author to manage medical articles and publish media files to the www.aboutkidshealth.ca site. This system will be the content management platform that delivers all web-based content to end users and provides the content owners with the ability to publish content of various types much more easily.
The WCMS will also manage this content through new content lifecycle which will be developed as part of this project, will allow content syndication across the site, and will provide search engine optimization. It is envisioned that the WCMS will in subsequent phases, evolve within the AKH into an Enterprise Content Management System to become the cornerstone for corporate document management and collaboration.

Orangutech Inc. Travelling to Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference in July via “Green” Technologies
Mississauga, Ontario July 9, 2009 - Orangutech Incorporated, in coordination with Microsoft Canada Co. and the International Association of Microsoft Certified Partners (IAMCP), will be travelling to the 2009 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference In New Orleans, Louisiana, from the Microsoft Canadian headquarters in Mississauga, Ontario using a hybrid technology vehicle and adhering to a strict “zero waste” policy throughout the duration of the trip.
Acknowledging a drastic change in the world’s perception of our carbon foot print and fossil fuel alternatives, Orangutech will be travelling approximately 2,100KMs (1,300 miles) to the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference using a 2009 Ford Hybrid Escape, carrying five passengers, to demonstrate alternative modes of travel and to capture and highlight significant analytics surrounding these different modes of transportation versus typical methods such as by plane or by standard fossil fuel only vehicles.
Also, to promote the significant Microsoft partner to partner relationships throughout North America Orangutech will be documenting, blogging, recording, and capturing all aspects of the journey and sharing this with the partner community and the general public while on the road. Orangutech’s executives will be meeting other Microsoft partners who are also part of the IAMCP ecosystem. The IAMCP, founded in 1984, represents Microsoft’s best of breed partners from around the globe, giving a voice into Microsoft programs, to the IT community at large, as well as a vehicle to facilitate mutual growth and business development among partners.
Video footage introducing the event will be available to the public via portals such as Orangutech’s web site (www.orangutech.com), Microsoft’s Digital WPC site (www.digitalwpc.com), and other social communication venues such as Office Live, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
