PUBLIC FOLDERS TO SHAREPOINT

Public Folders were one of the first collaboration technologies that many organizations deployed. However, Microsoft has put out clear guidance more recently that unless you already have Public Folders in place, there is no real reason to start using them.  Orangutech has recognized this shift and has designed a Public Folder migration strategy that better suits today’s higher demand for collaboration.  This shift allows organizations to leverage Outlook and Exchange for what it is best designed for and further utilize SharePoint for its’ greater collaborative capabilities such as version control, find ability, and workflow.
