SHAREPOINT 2003 TO SHAREPOINT 2007

SharePoint 2003 was the second official release of the SharePoint evolution but was the first introduction of a truly capable content management system.  Obviously, SharePoint 2003 lacked on quite a few of the newer capabilities of the SharePoint 2007 product but overall many organizations choose to deploy the product within a team based environment all the way up to the global enterprise level.  Be it that with a SharePoint version to version transition may be classified as an upgrade, Orangutech chooses to refer to these types of endeavors as more of a migration transition rather than an upgrade.  There are several features of the SharePoint 2007 platform that were simply not available within the 2003 product and would better suit the situation in certain scenarios.  Orangutech will help you as the organization map those previous feature sets to the newly introduced ones in 2007 and help move all of your assets and applications built in SharePoint 2003 over to SharePoint 2007 thus bringing you into the next generation of enterprise content management.
